Jesus Christ Superstar by Andrew
Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice to be directed by Deborah Draheim:
Saturday, February 1, 1:00 pm (call backs on February 2).
Show dates April 3-20
This will be a conceptual production and not the typical “Passion Play” Jesus Christ Superstar. We will be transported to a post-apocalyptic world full of desperation and fear where nothing is the same. Civilization has been destroyed by biological and chemical warfare. Desolate survivors are forced to search for salvation and the meaning of life. Having discovered remnants of the story of Jesus, a tribe of survivors enact a sacrificial ritual in the hopes that God will be pleased, and hopefully, their souls will be saved.
Manahatta by Mary Kathryn Nagle to be
directed by Paul Mitchell:
Sat, March 8, 1:00 pm (call backs on March 9).
Manahatta show dates May 8-17.
