Oklahoma City Municipal Building

Oklahoma City Municipal Building

For several years now, OKC Theatre Company has been a resident company of Civic Center Music Hall located in the heart of the Arts District in downtown OKC at 201 N. Walker Avenue. We present all of our performances in one of two spaces (The Freede Little Theatre and City Space Theatre) at the Civic Center.

  • The Freede Little Theatre is a traditional proscenium-style theatre located on the northwest side of the Civic Center.
  • The City Space Theatre, a more intimate 87 seat “black box” theatre, is located on the lower level on the northeast side of the building and can be accessed easily by stairs or elevator. Starting in Season 15, seating in City Space Theatre will be General Admission; however, seating is reserved for wheelchair access and companions.
  • All spaces are compliant with Federal regulations regarding accessibility. For more information, contact Civic Center Music Hall or visit their website by clicking the links below.

Once inside the building, a Civic Center Staff member can direct you more specifically. For more information about Civic Center Music Hall and parking click here.

Volunteer Opportunities

We are always looking for volunteers to help backstage building sets, painting, or even working with costumes.  Crew members get to see every show (from behind the curtains) and help the actors and production staff make the show run smoothly.  Interested?  Click on “Contact Us” and volunteer!
